Thanksgiving

So much to be thankful for.  I am most thankful for my family.  We took a few days off from the store, and took the kids to Knotts Berry Farm.   Josh and Josh did a great job of talking the girls into riding the Silver Bullet and Xcelerator.   Misha and Alyssa both overcame their fears of rollercoasters.
I love this photo... the things your kids do for you just to make you smile.  Thanks Kids!

Fleece Blankets

Today Jen and I worked together on her fleece Zebra blanket.  Young people are so much fun.  It's interesting to hear the things they are learning in school and taste in music.  Taylor Swift?  I'm a little shy to admit ...yes I sing lyrics from her songs.  Thanks Jen for bring out the "country music" girl in me.  Just like music brings generations together, fleece fabric does the same.  It's soft, warm, snugly and easy to work with.  Thursday November 26 we will have a one day sale 20% off fleece.  Includes free fleece workshops all day long.  Mark your calendar and come prepared to wrap yourself in the comfort of fleece.

Big Thanks!

Hi everyone!

So it's been a few weeks since my last blog post.  Still have to get used to this blogging!  We have been very busy at the store.  We received new fabric, and we're working on getting new patterns and classes for you all as well. Very exciting!!

I wanted to update you all about recent happenings at Totally Tina's and also give a special thanks to several people.  So here we go!!

A special thank you to Norma I. and Karen A. for donating the sewing machines.  With their generous donation, we are able to provide sewing machines to students for our classes.

Thank you for the great turn out on the C. Bristow Estate Sale on October 16th!  We are thankful for all of your support and hope many of you walked away with lots of fabric!

Finally thank you to all of the wonderful quilters and sewers who come into Totally Tina's Fabrics and support us!

So now on to updates!

We received some beautiful batiks from Anthology Fabrics.  The colors are gorgeous and I have so many projects in mind that I can use them for, I just don't know which project I should pick first!

There are many more Batiks from this collection, so come in to see all that we have!
We also started our Go Green Drawing.  When you come into Totally Tina's Fabrics with one of our brown reusable bags, you get your name put into a jar and a chance to win a monthly prize. For October, our prize was the adorable Sew Easy Reversible Apron.

Our winner was Kayleigh P.  Congratulations to her!

For November, our prize will be a $10 gift certificate to Totally Tina's Fabrics.  The drawing will be at the end of the month and we will contact our winner.  Good luck to everyone!

We have officially started our Winter hours!  We will be open 9:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday.
That's all the updates I can think of for now.  Thanks for reading and hope to see you all at Totally Tina's Fabrics.
