Today is "Totally Thursday Trivia"!!!!! Teddy is our official mascot/customer greeter. Since Teddy is a rescued dog, every year we have a "Totally Teddy Sew" and donate all blankets to our local animal shelter. Our question for you is.....What breed of dog is Teddy? If you are the first to give us the correct answer either by telephone (559-782-3100) or via our facebook page, you could win a $5.00 gift certificate to our store. Good luck!!!

Brenda brought us over some beautiful fruits and veggies from her hot house today. Her husband Walt grows these wonderful organic guavas, peaches, Asian pears, and the beautiful peppers. The aroma in the store is just breath taking. I can't wait to go home to start slicing and dicing. Thank you Brenda and Walt, for the totally delicious treats!

When you are running your own business, you wear many hats. Today mine was window cleaning lady. I've been procrastinating cleaning our store windows, due to this crazy hot weather we have been having. This morning, I woke up and the weather was beautiful, so I decided to clean windows. My favorite window cleaning solution is plain water, a cap full of good old ammonia and an old towel. I love the way this solution makes my windows sparkle. And as life would have it the minute I finished with my window cleaning job...I had two companies come and ask me if I would like an estimate to clean our store windows. Go Figure!!! Everybody wants to help when the work is done.

Paper piecing has been my obsession lately. Empty fabric bolts are a perfect way to display your pre-cut pieces of fabric. You can secure your pieces with a straight pin, and place in order, by number. I found that this method was so much easier than sorting through plastic containers or plastic bags. It's also great way to "Go Green".
